Most people know me for my professional illustration work. If you have followed me for a bit longer you know that I have another passion: sewing! It’s a craft and skill that was passed down from generation to generation in my family and has now become my - sometimes out of control - hobby. Sewing means so much to me that I have decided to take it one step further. After a lot of encouragement from all the amazing mothers in my community I will start to give basic sewing classes on Sunday mornings. Anybody over 16+ years old is welcome. Join us for four Sunday mornings of learning, bonding and relaxing while we make 4 products from scratch with our own hands.

Why?

Being able to design and create something from scratch with our own hands empowers us and gives us confidence. When we slow down and pay attention to how something is made from the inside out, we force ourselves to go deeper. This creates a more meaningful relationship to the things we own because we appreciate and see the value of the product more easily. When we don’t take things for granted we become more grateful for what we have and this makes us simply happier.
